“Joining Café RE was one of the best decisions I have made for myself in recovery. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are all working to improve their lives is not only inspiring but also essential to understanding that we deserve a shot at recovering. Café RE is family to me. I’m grateful for it every day.” – Odette, 30, San Diego, CA
“Cafe RE was a game changer for me. When I first decided to stop drinking, I was way too intimidated to attend meetings in my area; Also, as a busy parent and professional, it was difficult to find the time. Cafe RE is an instant community of like-minded individuals that truly care about each other. I especially love the flexibility— between webinars, posts, and in-person meetups, I can be as involved as I need to be any hour of the day or night. I have been a part of other online groups, and this one is by far the most active and supportive.” – Tiffany, 34, Westminster MD
“I joined Cafe RE 2 weeks after my last drink and it has been pivotal in my recovery. The connections I have made and the support I have received, has been significant in my long term sobriety. I have been able to form long lasting friendships with members who I now consider my chosen family. 💙” – Andrea, 60, Cambria, CA
“For me, participating in the CafeRE community was the missing piece to my sobriety puzzle and has helped me attain my longest stretch of sobriety in over 40 years. Regularly attending online chats has allowed me to build a network of sober friends, taught me a tremendous amount about myself, and provided a loving/supportive/non-judgemental community in which I am thriving. Your path to sobriety may be different than mine, but joining CafeRE has been exactly what I needed to build the pride, knowledge, accountability, and community I needed to make my sobriety finally stick. Good luck on your journey.” – Dave, 62, Portage, MI
“I joined Cafe RE in 2019 when I was 3 weeks sober. It was the place I could go for support, comfort, connection and a platform for me to be vulnerable. It was my safe place and I owe my long term sobriety that I have today to that community.”- Megan, 40, Cumming, GA

It’s tough to put a price on something that has the potential to improve every aspect of your life. Currently, access to this community is only $24 per month. If you decide this isn’t for you, not a problem, you'll find the option to unsubscribe from automatic renewals under Your Purchases. For any subscriptions you purchased on the web, you'll see a "Cancel Subscription" button.
We do! Email [email protected] to enquire about what we have available.
Ten percent of monthly membership fees (after expenses are covered) go towards our yearly service project. Another portion goes to the independently organized Café RE meet-ups, where food and activities are covered. Member fees also ensure the lights are turned on, covering costs such as insurance, payroll, contractors, accounting, hosting fees, etc. We are new to the nonprofit world and are still honing in our focus on what we want to start fundraising for, but we would like to explore in-person coffee shops. You can learn more about our charitable efforts here.
At first, we heard YES! Then No. Then YES again. But the correct answer is NO, membership fees are NOT tax-deductible and the reason is that members are receiving a “service” (access to the community, courses, paired with an accountability partner etc.) for their monthly fee.
We do not offer refunds but you can cancel at any time. To cancel, in the Café RE Community, go to your Personal Settings and then to Your Plans and Purchases. See our terms and conditions for more info on this policy.
No, it is not. We embrace individuals from all recovery paths, practices, religions, backgrounds, and walks of life!
We have multiple chats per day, approx 25 per week. Community Chats, Mens Meetings, Womens Meetings, LGBTQ+, AA, Recovery Dharma, Yoga, Family & Relationships, Book Studies, and many other topics. These are community-led chats. We are not Mental health professionals, this is peer support.
All of our meetings (we call them chats) take place on Zoom. You can simply join from your browser or via the App on your mobile device.
Never! Sharing is always optional, and showing your face is not required, but we do encourage it! You can also engage with the community, which is incredibly valuable!
Yes! Well, some of them. We host 5-week courses on everything from the “What, Why & How” of quitting drinking to mindfulness, journaling and Ukelele which are free for Café RE members. We have some courses available at an additional cost as well.
